Pandora Vanilla Shake in Grey Contact Lens [Review]

Hi guys, firstly we wanted to say Happy Valentine’s day to everyone in the world! Today, I’ll give you a review about my new contact lens. Anyway, I’m not Wenny :o I’m Stephanie, I’ll also do some reviews about beauty products to help my sis (actually, cousin) completing this blog, hope this blog will help you in giving you some informations before you buy any beauty product. So, this is my first blogpost yey! and here is my first review ;)

I always want to try colored lens, but I don’t have any pride to wear it (ﾉTДT) I’m tried my first colored lens when i’m entering university and it was blue.. if I’m not mistaken the brand is X2 and it’s okay to use but I really want to try grey one someday.

While it’s still holiday, my mood and my pride is in the high and since Wenny also want to buy new pair of softlens sooooooo, I’m decided to buy 1 box Pandora Vanilla Shake in Grey (//∇//) I’m in love with the pattern and color itself, so whipped cream look alike :3

Too bad, I can’t read it what the description on the box. It’s in Japanese. So, I do research on internet and I found this information with something similar but uniquely different. (º____º)

☆ PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

- Diameter 19.5 mm

- B.C. or Base Curve 8.6

- Water content 52%

- Duration: 6-12 months

- Origin: China

Some similar information I got on the internet, it was Vassen Vanilla Grey contact lens. Probably the same as Pandora Vanilla Shake but I’m not really sure because the description kinda different, such as the diameter and the water content.

Vassen Vanilla Grey come in with 38-42% water content and 15.0 mm in diameter. But, that’s not a really problem here anyway. So, let’s get back to the topic.

☆ PACKAGING
The packaging is so cute, and the name itself make its even more cute! (can’t resist cute things, and cute packagings (//∇//)) It’s like you are having a Pandora Box and something in there will come out if you opened it!! *imagining things *slapped

☆ PATTERN

Pandora Vanilla Shake, once I heard about this. I kinda imagining a whipped cream on the top of a Vanilla Shake and topped with cherry.

☆ ENLARGEMENT

Some people said the actual diameter is 14.5mm rather than 19.5mm, but to me this is already big enough to scare away bad guy LOL! *joking

IMO, for peoples who have Asian eyes (small eyes) like me, really this lens is already big enough. Or else you want to use all-black lens like Thai Horror Films hahaha..

☆ COLOR & EFFECTS

The color is showing up nicely, grey almost white actually if you was in the dark place with lighting only to your face. (sorry for the horror-like photo, but my room lighting is not really good)

IMHO, it looks lke I’m wearing make-ups already but I did’t. My friends also told me the color is great, and they want to have it too :3

☆ COMFORT

A bit hard to apply, because my eyes is too small, LOL. I usually wear Acuvue Clear Softlens for daily use, because it has a very nice water content. If to be compared with this Pandora Vanilla Shake, of course Acuvue Clear is the winner with 58% water content. So in PVS case, the balance of speed to catch the eyeballs is a bit slow. But it just 6% difference, Pandora Vanilla Shake is nice enough to wear :3 I’m usually use it 8-9hours a day.

☆ OVERALL

PROS

- Nice packaging! :3
- Comfort enough to use all-day

- Perfect for both dark colored eyes

- Giving an effect like I’m wearing make up, cause the lens is big enough to make an effect like that :p

CONS

- Almost none, just need a lil bit improvement on the water contents IMHO :3

☆ SPECIAL NOTES

Remember not every people get used to contact lens, don’t wear it if your eyes irritated or get redness because lack of sleep. It can make your eyes worsen. If your eyes get dry, don’t forget to shed eyes medication specifically for contact lens. Only use insto and friend with bare eyes (not using any softlens).
